Iowa State, Missouri State, Davidson and Drake will take part in the 2026 Hall of Fame Classic on Dec. 18 at T-Mobile Center.
The neutral-site doubleheader will feature Iowa State taking on Missouri State and Drake battling Davidson. Specific game times, ticket details and broadcast assignments will be announced soon.
The 2026 Hall of Fame Classic will mark the event’s 26th year of operation in Kansas City, and its second time to be structured as a neutral-site doubleheader.
Iowa State finished the 2025-26 season ranked No. 8 in the nation after going 29-8 and reaching the Sweet 16. Missouri State made a seven-win improvement in 2025-26 from the prior season, and Drake has reached the NCAA Tournament in four of the past six years.
Missouri State most recently participated in 2018 and Iowa State’s only appearance in the event came in 2014. Drake will be making its first-ever Hall of Fame Classic appearance.
Davidson is coming off a 20-win season in 2025-26 where the Wildcats finished in the top half of the competitive Atlantic 10 standings and received a NIT bid. One of the nation’s most consistent programs, Davidson has earned selections to eight NCAA Tournaments since 2006. The Wildcats will be making their first-ever appearance at the Hall of Fame Classic.
The Hall of Fame Classic is operated by the Kansas City-based National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
