Amazing Race Stars Reunite at T-Mobile Center

Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time Lang and Big Easy Lofton, who recently competed in the Emmy Award-winning CBS reality hit, “The Amazing Race,” will reunite with their world famous teammates in Kansas City, as part of the Globetrotters’ 2010 “Magical Memories” World Tour at T-Mobile Center for two games on Saturday, January 2 at 2pm and 7pm.

With a television audience of millions watching on CBS primetime each Sunday night, Flight Time and Big Easy battled 11 other teams and successfully raced in 11 suspenseful episodes – finishing first in two legs – reaching the final four before being eliminated with only one episode remaining.

Tickets for the Jan. 2 match-ups are on sale now and may be purchased at ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster Outlets, T-Mobile Center Box Office or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000. For group discounts, call 816-949-7177.

The Globetrotters’ run on “The Amazing Race” is just the latest in a series of primetime appearances for the pop culture icons in the last nine months, as the Globetrotters have had guest spots on popular television series “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Jon & Kate Plus 8” and “The Bachelorette,” as well as “The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.”

The Original Harlem Globetrotters have played in 120 countries on six continents, entertaining over 130 million fans and crossing barriers between cultures, societies and people from all walks of life. The Globetrotters are one of only six teams to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
