Daughtry Makes T-Mobile Center Return on May 25

Following the success of its nationally televised New Year’s Eve performance in Times Square, Daughtry reveals plans for the second leg of its U.S. arena tour, which will hit Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center on May 25.

For the upcoming shows, singer Chris Daughtry, bassist Josh Paul, drummer Joey Barnes, and guitarists Brian Craddock and Josh Steely will be joined by special guest Lifehouse and opening band Cavo.

As the band prepares for another round of headlining U.S. arenas, Chris Daughtry says the excitement has not worn off. “Growing up, you dream about singing one of your songs in front of a packed house,” he says. “I still get chills when we’re playing and I hear the crowd singing louder than we are.”

The tour announcement comes as Daughtry’s latest single “Life After You,” continues to perform well on the charts. The song is the second from the group’s sophomore album Leave This Town, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last summer. The album’s first single, “No Surprise,” became the band’s fourth #1 hit and the band’s third single is scheduled to be released this spring.
