Sold out event at Sprint Center will heavily impact downtown traffic on Wednesday

Get Motivated Seminars is an all day motivational seminar featuring Rudy Giuliani, General Colin Powell, Zig Ziglar, several business leaders and celebrities.

The event begins at 8 a.m. and is sold out. The event will be broadcast at satellite locations including Kansas City Convention Center and First Baptist Church of Raytown. More than 20,000 people are expected to descend upon downtown Kansas City for this event.

This event will dramatically impact parking availability and traffic patterns in and around T-Mobile Center and the downtown loop. Guests are encouraged to park at Kemper Arena and take a shuttle to T-Mobile Center. 35 shuttles will run between Kemper Arena and T-Mobile Center beginning at 5:45 a.m. Doors for the event open at 6:45 a.m. and the event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.

Please note: there is a distinct possibility that all roads and interstates leading into downtown will be congested during peak times and parking availability may be challenging.
