The Border War is coming back to Kansas City!

The University of Kansas Jayhawks and University of Missouri Tigers will meet in the 2026 Border Showdown on Sunday, Dec. 6, at T-Mobile Center, bringing one of college basketball’s most historic rivalries back to a neutral court in the heart of Kansas City.

The Kansas-Missouri basketball rivalry is among the most frequently played series in NCAA history. The teams renewed the rivalry as non-conference opponents in 2021 after an extended hiatus, with recent meetings taking place at T-Mobile Center.
