Recycle Electronics and Securely Shred Documents at T-Mobile Center This Friday

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 10, 2014)—In honor of America Recycles Day, T-Mobile Center will serve as a drop off location for guests desiring to recycle electronics and securely shred paper. T-Mobile Center’s America Recycles Day Electronics and Paper Shred Recycling Event will be held on Friday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Barnes Plaza located in front of the box office on Grand Boulevard. Volunteers will be on site to assist and provide guests with a tax deductible card for their donation.                                                            

Residents may recycle a variety of items including cables, cable boxes, cellular phones, computers, monitors, DVD players, printers, stereos, televisions, VCRs, fans, cameras, hair dryers, clocks and curling irons along with paper to securely shred. A complete list of items eligible to be recycled may be found by visiting www.t-mobilecenter.com/americarecycles.  Electronics recycling services are provided by E-Steward Certified Vintage Tech Recyclers.  Monetary donations to support Keep Kansas City Beautiful will also be accepted at the event.

Each guest making an America Recycles Day donation or recycling item(s) during the event on Nov. 14 will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming T-Mobile Center event.
