T-Mobile Center Earns Eleventh Spot Among US Arenas in 2015 Pollstar Mid-Year Report

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 27, 2015) –In Pollstar magazine’s recently released Mid-Year Report, T-Mobile Center ranks eleventh in the United States and 36th among all worldwide venues. Kansas City’s award winning arena was among a select number of US concert venues listed in the top 40 spots on this prestigious list. 

"T-Mobile Center and the Kansas City region continue to produce amazing results as evidenced by rankings in Pollstar’s 2015 Mid-Year Report,” said Brenda Tinnen, AEG Kansas City/T-Mobile Center general manager and senior vice president. “We will remain persistent in our commitment to hospitality and aggressive programming.”

According to the Mid-Year Report, T-Mobile Center’s 2015 calendar includes stops by more than half of the Top 25 Top Arena Tours in North America including sold-out shows by Fleetwood Mac, Maroon 5, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond and Charlie Wilson.

In addition, Kansas City’s award winning venue will close out the summer schedule by welcoming Shania Twain (Aug. 7), Chris Brown (Aug. 12), Foofighters (Aug. 21), Kevin Hart (2 shows on Aug. 22),Disney on Ice: Frozen (12 shows from Aug. 26-31), and Taylor Swift (Sept. 21 & 22). Pollstar utilizes an extensive database to collect box office reports from the world’s top-level artists, promoters and venues. Rankings are based on tickets sold for live entertainment performances between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2015.
