$1 is donated to local charities for every valid entry

T-Mobile Center Foundation Launches ‘Twelve Days of Giving’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 12, 2011) – T-Mobile Center, Kansas City’s award winning arena, and its charitable arm, T-Mobile Center Foundation, have teamed up with artists, teams, events and fans to launch ‘Twelve Days of Giving,’ an innovative program to benefit local charities. From Dec. 12-Dec. 23, fans will have an opportunity each day to register to win a prize pack including tickets to an upcoming T-Mobile Center event. Fans may enter once per day between noon and midnight daily. Winning entries will be announced the following day at 9am on t-mobilecenter.com. For each valid entry, T-Mobile Center Foundation will donate $1 to local charities.

“T-Mobile Center Foundation is proud to facilitate a win-win opportunity where our fans, upcoming events and artists are partnering to make a difference for Kansas City charities,” said Brenda Tinnen, T-Mobile Center/AEG-KC General Manager and Senior Vice President. “We are humbled by the support of T-Mobile Center artists including George Strait & Martina McBride, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Brad Paisley, Harlem Globetrotters, Jeff Dunham, Monster Jam and WWE-- to name just a few, that eagerly and enthusiastically agreed to participate in this effort. More than 26,000 entries have been submitted via T-Mobile Center’s website for previous events and we look forward to surpassing that number for ‘Twelve Days of Giving.’

Established in 2009, under the umbrella of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, the mission of T-Mobile Center Foundation is to address our community needs by investing in measurable, sustainable programs that improve the quality of life of area residents in the areas of music education, youth and neighborhoods. T-Mobile Center Foundation’s ‘Twelve Days of Giving’ is in conjunction with AEG’s Season of Giving. Each year, AEG's annual holiday charitable program provides venues and opportunities for local charities, youth organizations, Foundations, schools and non-profit organizations to host programs as part of their fundraising and awareness campaigns. In the last two years, over $22 million has been raised during AEG’s Season of Giving. Charitable organizations interested in submitting an application for funding related to ‘Twelve Days of Giving’ may submit a letter of inquiry including a copy of their 501(c)3 designation to foundation@t-mobilecenter.com or via U.S. Mail at 1407 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64106. Letters of inquiry must be received or postmarked by Dec. 20, 2011.
