T-Mobile Center Hosts Recycling Event on Earth Day

Guests May Drop Off Paper and Electronics on April 22 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

In honor of Earth Day on Friday, April 22, T-Mobile Center will partner with Bridging The Gap to serve as a drop off location for guests desiring to securely shred paper and recycle select electronics. T-Mobile Center’s Earth Day Recycling Event will be held on Friday, April 22 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Barnes Plaza located in front of the Price Chopper Box Office at T-Mobile Center on Grand Boulevard. Volunteers will be on site to assist and provide guests with a tax deductible receipt for their donation.

Residents may recycle a variety of items including cables, cable boxes, cellular phones, computers, monitors, DVD players, printers, stereos, televisions, VCRs, fans, cameras, hair dryers, clocks and curling irons. There will be a recycling fee of $25 per television and $15 per CRT monitor.  Cash or check accepted. A complete list of items eligible to be recycled may be found by visiting www.t-mobilecenter.com/earthday2016.

Secure paper shredding and electronics recycling services are provided by Secure e-Cycle, a division of ProShred. Monetary donations to support Bridging The Gap will also be accepted at the event.  To learn more about recycling and where to go to recycle household items after the event, visit recyclespot.org.

Each guest making an Earth Day donation or recycling item(s) during the event on April 22 will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming T-Mobile Center event. Price Chopper is a proud sponsor of Earth Day celebrations at T-Mobile Center.
