Kansas City, Mo. (Dec. 19, 2013) – T-Mobile Center proudly supports the Kansas City community and its incredible charitable organizations. In an effort to spread Holiday Cheer throughout the region,
T-Mobile Center staff donated time and resources to Harvesters – The Community Food Network and Sheffield Place. In addition, T-Mobile Center provided 14 incredible prizes through the first ever #t-mobilecenter Holiday Scuzzle.

T-Mobile Center staff spent the morning of Dec. 18 at Harvesters – The Community food Network in an assembly line creating more than 1,600 BackSnacks to be distributed to children throughout the Kansas City area. In addition to the time well spent at Harvesters, T-Mobile Center staff donated more than 2,000 pounds of food for the cause. Guests who attended an event at T-Mobile Center in December were also encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to the cause.

The GRAMMY Museum Experience @ T-Mobile Center welcomed families from Sheffield Place to Groovin’ with Grover on Saturday, Dec. 7. The free program featured a live music sing-a-long, musical instrument crafts and a special red carpet appearance from Grover. Children, ages one to five, were able to experience the power of music with family, friends and Grover.

Continuing in the Holiday spirit, T-Mobile Center hosted the first ever Holiday Scuzzle contest. More than 4,000 fans entered with hopes of winning one of the incredible prizes including VIP tickets for George Strait, Justin Timberlake, Kings Of Leon, Cher, Miley Cyrus, PBR, the Champions Showdown and many more. It’s been another incredible year thanks to the support and enthusiasm for live entertainment from the best fans in the world. 2014 looks to be even brighter with incredible artists and sporting events on the way proving Kansas City is a must play for any event.
