T-Mobile Center Supports America Recycles Day Nov. 15 As Location For Electronic Recycling

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 8, 2013) - T-Mobile Center will participate in America Recycles Day on Friday, Nov. 15 as a location to drop off electronics for recycling between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Barnes Plaza in front of T-Mobile Center.  Volunteers will be on site to assist with drop off and provide guests with a tax deductible card for their donation. 

A list of recyclable items can be found at www.t-mobilecenter.com/ard.  Electronics recycling provided by E-Steward Certified Vintage Tech Recyclers.  A tax-deductible donation of $5 or more, or $15 per television is suggested ($25 per wooden console television).

Each guest with a donation or recycled item to visit the Grand Boulevard cutout during the America Recycles Day event on Nov. 15 will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming T-Mobile Center event. 

A program of Keep America Beautiful, America Recycles Day is recognized nationally on Nov. 15 promoting efforts to bring awareness to recycling in the United States.  Keep Kansas City Beautiful formed in May 2000 as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Bridging The Gap to work in partnership with citizens, businesses and government in creating a cleaner and more beautiful metropolitan Kansas City.  Keep Kansas City Beautiful is funded in part by the City of Kansas City, Mo.
