T-Mobile Center Supports Veterans As Drop Off Location For America Recycles Day on Nov. 15

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 12, 2012)—T-Mobile Center will participate in America Recycles Day on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 as a location to drop off cell phones for donation to Cell Phones for Soldiers between the hours of 11am to 6pm on Barnes Plaza off Grand Boulevard. Volunteers will be on site to assist guests interested in supporting America’s soldiers and providing mobile devices in working order that can be repurposed for use by a soldier or their family. A program of Keep America Beautiful, America Recycles Day is recognized nationally on Nov. 15 promoting efforts to bring awareness to recycling in the United States.

Cell Phones for Soldiers Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services to active duty military members and veterans. Cell Phones for Soldiers hopes to continue its mission to provide troops with FREE calls home through generous monetary contributions and the recycling of used mobile phones.

Each visitor to Grand Boulevard cutout during the America Recycles Day event on Nov. 15 will be provided a pair of tickets to Batman Live. Batman and Robin will make a special appearance at the event to greet guests who are honoring America’s heroes.
