T-Mobile Center Nominated for ACM Arena of the Year

Kansas City, Mo. (April 10, 2024) - The Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Dick Clark Productions (DCP)  announced nominations for the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards including T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. as Arena of the Year Nominee. “Country Music’s Party of the Year'' will stream live exclusively for a global audience across 240+ countries and territories on Thursday, May 16. 

 

“T-Mobile Center is honored to be nominated for Arena of the Year by the Academy of Country Music,” said Jay Cooper, T-Mobile Center General Manager. “T-Mobile Center is grateful for enthusiastic support from amazing fans, country radio, promoters, agents and managers making the arena the center of live music in the Kansas City region.”

 

Operated by ASM Global, T-Mobile Center hosted 10 country concerts last year including The Judds, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean and Old Dominion. Summer of 2023 included sold-out dates for Shania Twain, Jelly Roll and The Chicks as well as Zach Bryan who set T-Mobile Center’s concert attendance record welcoming 19,659 fans.

 

To date, eight country shows have been announced on T-Mobile Center’s 2024 calendar including Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Zach Bryan (2) and Hank Williams, Jr. The Industry Awards and Studio Recording Awards will be voted upon and announced later this summer. Winners will be celebrated at ACM Honors, a special event held annually each August in Nashville, Tenn.
