X Games Stars to compete at Sprint Center On Oct. 9

Kansas City welcomes the world’s top BMX athletes when the MEGARAMP ASA Triples (Triples), produced by ASA Entertainment, head to Sprint Center on Oct. 9. For one night only, BMX pros from the X Games will compete in a series of unique head-to-head battles while taking on the challenge of the 195-foot long Triples course, consisting of a 25-foot high roll-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending 14’ high quarter-pipe. The pros will amaze the crowd with mind-boggling flips, whips, flairs and spins while attempting to best their opponent and take home the event title.

The excitement begins at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9. Tickets for the MEGARAMP ASA Triples start at just $15 and go on sale Tuesday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 800.745.3000.

Previous events on the MEGARAMP ASA Triples Tour in 2010 have included action sports superstars like 2009 X Games gold medalist Scotty Cranmer (Howell, NJ); two-time, BMX Triples event champion Ryan Guettler (Queensland, Australia); 12-time X Games medalist Ryan Nyquist (Los Gatos, CA); Dew Tour runner-up Mike Spinner (Miami, FL); and 3-time Action Sports World Champion Daniel Dhers (Caracas, Venezuela). The competition’s head-to-head format stretches the athletic limits of these competitors and brings the fans to the edge of their seats with their innovative and awe-inspiring tricks.

The event will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports Net as part of ASA’s action sports block in November.
